East Piatu Field Development, Block PM 329 Project

 

Site: Terengganu, Malaysia

This project is entitled East Piatu Field Development, Block PM329, Exclusive Economic Zone, offshore Peninsular Malaysia. 

The development project consists of installation of fully independent Central Processing Platform Bridge linked to a new Wellhead Platform and two new export pipelines to PM Larut A Platform. The East Piatu Field is located in Block 329, approximately 260 km northeast of Terengganu in water depths of approximately 61 meters.

Solution delivered

Infrakomas was responsible for the design, manufacture, supply, inspection, testing and commissioning of 6 VCU and 7 VCB.

Telok A & B Topside Project

Site: Located at Malaysia in the South China Sea

The project will involve installation of two gas satellite platforms, Telok A and B, tied back to the existing Guntong gas hub and the installation.

This will provide additional supplies for Malaysia’s power and industrial needs and also help promote the overall growth of the natural gas sector.

Solution delivered

Infrakomas was responsible for servicing RMU for Telok A & Telok B.

Bekok C Platform Project

Site: Located in block pm9 in the south-eastern part of the Malay Basin

The Bekok-C is a manned platform serving as a gas processing and compression hub exporting gas from the Guntong, Tiong and Bekok fields of Block PM9 in addition to production of crude oil and gas from its own wells.

The end user PETRONAS CARIGALI Sdn Bhd has award Petrofac Group for the refurbishment of the Bekok-C platform and the project will be executed on an engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) alliance basis.

Solution delivered

Infrakomas Sdn Bhd to be responsible for design, supply of material, fabrication, assembly, painting, inspection, system integration, functionality, testing, packaging, export protection and delivery of 2 units 480V Delta Power System Grounding Transformer from Powell.

Infrakomas also responsible to supply of distribution panels, lighting & small power transformer which involve 14 panels and 2 unit of transformers.

In this project, IFK is also part of commissioning and testing services team which involve Engineer from Powell and personnel from Infrakomas. The scope that has been cover include:

  • Inspect equipment for correct installation, grounding and terminations.
  • Perform functional testing of pulsing operation and all controls and metering.
  • Perform capacitive charging current testing so as to develop and set the HRG units for proper resistorsettings.
  • Test for proper operation of ground detector probe.
Electrical Power Distribution and Management System for Tapis EOR & Rejuvenation Project

Site: Satellite Platforms (Tapis A, Tapis B, Tapis C & Tapis D) South China Sea, East Cost of Peninsular Malaysia.

The Tapis Pumping Platform is the hub for offshore oil production from 10 ExxonMobil operated and six PETRONAS Carigali operated oil fields. This hub is commonly called the Tapis Oil Production System, which produces the Malaysian benchmark crude, Tapis Blend. The Tapis System currently produces approximately 360 kbd more than half of the country’s total oil production.

Infrakomas was responsible to supply 6.9kV High Voltage Ring Main Unit (RMU) Switchgear from Ormazabal complete with ECMS System and Low Voltage (480V) Switchgear/MCC from Powell complete with accessories including Inspection, test & certification, documentation, preservation & export packing, and spares for commissioning/start-up to ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc.

Electrical Power Distribution and Management System for Tapis EOR & Rejuvenation Project

Site: Tapis R / CPP Platform, South China Sea, East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

Tapis R is a central processing platform comprised of an estimated 18,000 metric-tonne integrated deck with space for production processing equipment, utilities systems and living quarters for 145 personnel.

The Tapis oil development, which lies 190 km off Terengganu in 64 m of water, produces extra-light, low sulfur crude, and once served as the benchmark for pricing oil cargoes in Australia, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

Infrakomas Sdn Bhd to supply Low Voltage (480V) Switchgear/MCC from Powell, ECMS and 5000Amp 480V Low voltage Cast Resin Insulated Busduct System from Betobar complete with accessories including Inspection, test & certification, documentation, preservation & export packing, and spares for commissioning/start-up to ExxonMobil Exploration & Production Malaysia Inc.

Damar A Platform Topside Project

Site: 200 kilometers off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia in approximately 55 meters of water

The Damar platform consists of 1 steel piled 4 legged jacket and 1 integrated deck. The platform is designed to be capable of accommodating up to 20 well slots. The well slot can be drilled using a Tender Assisted Drilling Rig or a Jack-up Drilling Rig.

Damar A Topside : An integrated deck, weighing approximately 1,800MT, which is a satellite platform housing wellheads, utilities and other production facilities. The platform also has a splitter box for connecting a submarine power/fiber optic cable.

Infrakomas Sdn Bhd to be responsible for design, supply of material, fabrication, assembly, painting, inspection, system integration, functionality, testing, packaging, export protection and delivery of 13.8kV Ring Main Unit (RMU) DaA-823-3-RMU-110 CGMCosmos V-V-V-P from Ormazabal.

Kerja-Kerja Menaiktaraf 35 Unit Ring Main Unit (RMU) Jenis F&G Sedia Ada Ke Motorized & SCADA Ready RMU Di Bawah Pelaksanaan Projek SCADA Di Pencawang Elektrik Dan Stesen Suis 11kV

The project is awarded to Infrakomas Sdn Bhd (IFK) from TNB Berhad. This project is only for Selangor and Penang state which in total involve 35 sites. Only RMU type GA is can be installed with this facility and the upgrading work is only for the feeder switch of each RMU. Total of 77 nos of motor unit is required to be installed for 35 stations.

Infrakomas successfully complete the installation and commissioning works within 8 hours shutdown time.
